Shipping Information
Once Iíve processed your request (see Ordering Information for details) and your pottery is ready for delivery, I ship packages by way of USPS Priority Mail, which typically provides delivery within a timeframe of two to three days. Please specify if you want your package shipped differently. Due to the nature of ceramics, I donít skimp when packing up your pottery to avoid breakage. I will not insure your package unless you email me and request this additional service at the added cost. At the same time, Purple Door Pottery is concerned about the environment, so I re-use packaging materials whenever possible. Hopefully youíll re-use or recycle all of the packaging too!

  • How do you calculate shipping costs?
    Shipping costs are calculated based upon Priority Mail pricing, which is dependent on weight as well as the distance between your location and mine. When I can, I use Regional boxes, which cost a bit less to ship than standard flat-rate Priority Mail boxes.

  • Do you ship worldwide?
    At this time I am not fulfilling orders from outside the United States.
Returns and Exchanges
I want you to enjoy doing business with Purple Door Pottery. Please read the following for instructions on returns, exchanges, or problems with delivery.
  • No-Risk Return/Exchange Policy
    I hope you are delighted with your pottery! However, if youíre not, you may return any purchase for any reason for exchange or refund of the purchase price within 15 days of delivery. Please note that you are responsible for the return shipping cost. Just contact me for details and authorization.

  • What happens if my piece is broken when it arrives?
    I try to package your Purple Door Pottery purchase so that it will arrive at your doorstep in perfect condition. However, I cannot *guarantee* that breakage will not occur. If this happens to you, please contact me right away.

  • Information I Collect
    When you make a purchase, you provide me with your contact information, billing and shipping addresses, and payment information. I also collect and store information about the products you purchase as well as the date and time of your purchase.

  • How I Use and Protect This Information
    I use this information to fulfill your orders and to communicate with you. I do not give, rent or sell your personal information to any other entity. All paperwork is kept locked in a secure location. I do maintain a mailing list of people who want to be notified about art shows, gallery information and when new products are added to my site. I will remove your name at your request. Again, my lists are never provided to third parties.

  • Legal
    Anne Lewis/purpledoorpottery.com bears and accepts no responsibility for injury or damage which may result from the improper use of a Purple Door Pottery product; from a product modified or repaired by others; or from abuse, abnormal use, or use beyond normal product life. Please read my Care and Handling information prior to using your Purple Door Pottery products and use common sense when using them. Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have about your pottery.
